Heavy Flange Weld Nuts – Projections on Top

This Flanged Weld Nut features three precision weld projections located on the top of the flange to allow for welding directly to (as opposed to through) the surface of the mated component. The three projections are of equal height and mass and are positioned on the flange in a fashion that allows for a robust weld connection without impacting the exterior surface of the mated component. These industrial fasteners are available from JHP Fasteners in a variety of materials, dimensions and thread sizes (inch and metric).

Application notes:
This weld nut allows for welding directly to the surface of a mated component. Three symmetrical weld projections located on the top of the flange allow for a robust weld that will not disfigure the exterior surface of the mated component.

For applications that require a robust weld nut that can be applied directly to a mated component, this particular flanged weld nut is an excellent choice. It is also an ideal choice if the post-weld surface appearance of the mated component is a consideration.
