The large flange, knurled, metric body rivet nut is a good choice for use in applications that require increased strength and improved containment of round or oversized holes. Application notes:
The grip range of these rivet nuts can be affected by the type of sheet material being used. It is recommended that a few test installations be conducted to determine the appropriate grip range for your specific application. Installation of the large flange, knurled, metric body rivet nut is accomplished via use of hand tools that can be pneumatic, hydraulic, or manual. There is no other special equipment required. The knurled body provides extra resistance to spin-out.

These rivet nuts are easy to install and will provide robust performance in a wide range of applications. In mid to high-volume applications, they can reduce assembly cost when compared to use of loose nuts and bolts.
