Spot Weld Screws – 90 Degree Tab

This Spot Weld Screw features a narrow flat spade positioned at a right angle to the screw’s threads. This design feature allows the weld screw to be welded to or through a metal surface. The narrow spade design also allows the screw to be effectively welded within narrow channels and other confined spaces. These industrial fasteners are available from JHP Fasteners in a variety of materials, dimensions and thread sizes (inch and metric).

Application notes:
The spade head on this spot weld screw can be welded to, or through, a metal surface. The spade will accommodate a variety of electrode tip sizes and can be welded using welding equipment used in any standard welding process. No special tooling or fixturing is required. This weld screw is ideally suited for use within confined spaces.
