FALL CLASSIC - 2006
Sunday, October 1st was the final sanctioned event for the 2006 schedule. Only four men could be found to commit and play in this years event. Pretty typical of the entire summer as many nights went without action due to players being too busy with yard work and television watching. But those that came, left it all on the sand. Ed (7 wins) ended up dominating the entire event with really hard spikes and solid passing. Nick (6 wins) pushed him to the limit but fell short. Brinks and Nate basically just ran around and tried to fight for third. Brinks (3) ended up taking 3rd with Nate (3) falling to 4th. Fans were in and out and never really got into the 3 round battle, but the ones who watched were impressed with the court conditions. Fall action under the lights will begin if two can be found to play with ed and ry. It is clear some may not be returning next year as age and other commitments have taken priority to maintaining vball activity.
EASTSIDE KOTB - 2006

A day of tragedy, a day of triumph, a day of full scale unleashed power. 9 studs slumbered onto the sand for the biggest event in Eastside history. Competition was tight with the exception of Scott (8 wins) who is no longer allowed to participate in volleyball related activities at Eastside. He coasted to the victory with precise cut shots and superb dinks. Dave (7 wins) came in with low expectations as he has not played this summer, but surprised all as he dominated the event and took a solid second. Ed ( 6 wins) took third by basically taking his meat hooks and punishing the baden. Wade ( 4 wins) used his extended years of experience to secure fourth. Tom (6 wins) made his money back in the silver division by taking the fifth spot. Brian (6 wins) came in sixth by finishing the day with a 6-1 run. The most disappointing performance was by previous all-star Chad (5 wins). He was unable to put together a consistent day. He was still able to take 7th though. Ryan (4 wins) and NIck(2 wins) took the last positions by purposely throwing games. Still the day was filled with total professionalism and sportsmanship. Thanks to the Nausiedas for once again outdoing themselves with hosting the event.

February 2006 - Clearwater Tornado Deflowering - Chad, Aaron, Ed and Dave all traveled south for some sun and fun and to open the 2006 season. High winds torched the beaches as the four studs grazed the white sands. The ladies were impressed with their milky white flesh as they pounded balls and hit volleyballs. Club 1987 hosted the meet and greet and the boys were on cloud nine as they were swarmed by busty babes and hot tanned guys. Ed continued his Florida dominance as he took the opening crown with solid play.
